By booking DJ Sol for your event, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These rules help ensure the smooth delivery of your event and protect both the client and the DJ.

1. Booking & Deposit

A 25% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your date and time.
The deposit is applied toward the total cost of your selected package.
Your booking is not confirmed until the deposit is received and a confirmation email is issued.

2. Payment Terms

The remaining 75% balance is due no later than 7 days before the event date.
Accepted payment methods: Zelle, Cash App, Venmo, PayPal, or bank transfer (details provided at booking).
Failure to pay the balance on time may result in cancellation of the booking with no refund of the deposit.

3. Cancellation & Refund Policy

Deposits are non-refundable if you cancel within 14 days (2 weeks) of the event.
If cancellation occurs more than 14 days before the event, your deposit may be credited toward a future event within 12 months (subject to availability).
If DJ Sol must cancel due to an emergency or force majeure, you will receive a full refund, including the deposit, or the option to reschedule at no additional cost.

4. Event Logistics

Client must ensure the venue has reliable power supply and appropriate space for DJ setup.
If the event is outdoors, the DJ setup must be under weather-proof cover (tent, canopy, etc.).
Any delays caused by client or venue issues may reduce performance time without refund.

5. Music & Customization

DJ Sol welcomes music preferences, special song requests, and do-not-play lists submitted at least 5 days before the event.
The final playlist and flow are curated at DJ Sol’s discretion to maintain energy and crowd engagement.

6. Equipment Use

DJ Sol provides all necessary professional DJ and sound equipment as outlined in the selected package.
Clients are responsible for any damage caused to DJ’s equipment by guests or third parties during the event.

7. Travel & Lodging (if applicable)

Events located more than 30 miles outside of central Houston may incur a travel surcharge.
For events requiring overnight stay, lodging must be provided or reimbursed by the client.

8. Code of Conduct

DJ Sol operates in a professional and respectful manner at all times.
Host is expected to maintain a safe environment; DJ Sol reserves the right to end a performance early if there are threats to safety or equipment with no refund given.

9. Media & Promotion

DJ Sol may record or photograph portions of the event for promotional purposes (Instagram, website, etc.), unless the client explicitly opts out in writing before the event.
